Availability

All tutoring support takes place between 4pm to 9pm Monday to Friday. If you do require a weekend slot this would need to be negotiated with the individual tutor. The optimum commitment would be a fortnightly session per student. Please email directly in order to secure a time slot as there is limited number.

Cancellation - it is vital that every student gives 24 hours notice for cancellation otherwise payment will be taken, as the approx one hour preparation work required for each session will already have been completed.

All payments should be made 24 hours after the session takes place. If for any reason, the tutor cancels with less than 24 hours notice, the students will also be entitled to a free session.

Pricing

One hour one-to-one support (via Zoom/Teams or at home) at Higher and National Five level is £40. Visits to homes outside of the Linlithgow area will require travel costs to be covered, and an agreement to be made on a travel time payment, depending on the distance.

One hour as a paired exercise (for literature or close reading) would be £30 per student

One hour with a maximum group of three (for literature or close reading) would be £25 per student

One hour at Advanced Higher or A Level (for any part of the course) would be £50 per student because of the extensive level of individual pre-work and preparation required to support at this level
